After working in the industry for several years at another firm, Mike and his father Tino left to start their own company. Their commitment to customer satisfaction has facilitated incredible growth and expansion into new areas beyond plumbing and mechanical services.

As a recent addition to the management team, I am proud to be a member of the Plumb Line family. I am a native of Nevada and moved to the Elko area 23+ years ago. My wife and I raised our two daughters here and now enjoy 5 grandchildren.

I have over 30 years of operations management in project, healthcare, and corporate operations. I am looking forward to the opportunities that come with this position. Having the privilege to serve the community and assure that everyone receives the quality service, and experiences the professionalism that every Plumb Line employee delivers is essential. I look forward to building strong friendships by working together to make our community the best!

Dave Spence grew up in a rural area, working on farms, ranches, and at mechanical shops where he gained a wealth of mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Working as a maintenance mechanic at a plant, allowed him to gain experience performing bearing replacments, welding, and screw conveyor repairs. Moving to Elko is 1988 to pursue a career in the mining industry, he began as a laborer in the process area and moved the the progression system to end as a Process Operations General Supervisor, serving on several Safety Committees and assiting in the development of safety and training programs for the operations group. He also gained experiance working as a manager for an industrial cleaning company. Dave is now the manager of the Industrial Division for Plumbline Mechanical.

Hello, my name is Brian Ayala. I am 27 years old and have lived in Elko since November 1987. I joined the U.S. Navy in 2002 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and received an Honorable Discharge in 2005. After receiving my Honorable Discharge I joined the mining industry which is where I still am today. My wife and I met in December 2005 and married in May 2007. I have two very beautiful children who mean the world to me. My hobbies include spenindg time with my family, hunting, snowmobiling, camping, and fishing.

Shanna Young is a Nevada native that came to Elko in 2008.  She has an associate’s degree in Accounting and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. 

Her prior experience in public accounting and the private industry bring expertise and insight to Plumb Line. 

My name is Luis Gaytan and I’m fortunate to say that I really enjoy what I do. I started my career as the Safety Director with Plumb Line Mechanical in March of 2007, and all these years wouldn’t have been as fun and satisfying if it hadn’t have been for all the challenges we’ve had to face on a daily basis. My biggest satisfaction comes as I see the challenges we overcame as a company and the safety culture we have been able to develop and continue to do so. I am personally a big supporter for continuous improvement since I had the opportunity to be a member of a CI steering committee in Arizona and witness extraordinary end results where the CI group played a huge role.

John White came to Elko fourteen years ago as a teenager. After graduating from Elko High School, he married his high school sweetheart and began his career in the mining industry. With ten years under his belt with experience in drilling, equipment operation, welding/fabrication, and fire suppression John came to Plumb Line mechanical to take care of the warehouse. Johns enjoys music and playing guitar and drums, and spending time with his family.
